The Science of the Mind

Welcome to the Neuroscience Graduate Program of the University of Idaho!

.......................

The Graduate Program in Neuroscience at the University of Idaho was established in 2003 as a multi-disciplinary program offering the Ph.D. and M.S. degrees.

......................

Faculty members from 11 departments in the Colleges of Agricultural and Life SciencesScience, Education, Engineering, and Letters, Arts and Social Sciences are members of the Program.

Research
Research interests of the faculty are diverse and reflect a variety of state of the art approaches toward understanding the brain and behavior.

These interests span three broad areas of Neuroscience:

  • Neurobiology
  • Computational Neuroscience
  • Cognitive Neuroscience

Correspondingly, we offer a graduate education that bridges these three areas to provide students with an understanding of biological, computational, and behavioral approaches to the study of the nervous system.

Spring 2008
Topics in Neuroscience Seminar Series Schedule: Wednesdays at 1:30 pm in MRCI Conference Room, BEL 328.
